In a way to have discussion and ask question, design form should be maintained during the operation. However, due to gravitational pull when design line has cut it falls down thus cannot maintain its form. In this respect, leaners have no choice but to simply watch the whole process.

2. It is hard to grasp overall design.

Hair cut is a step-by-step operation which designer cuts one section and proceed to the next section. Therefore, learners might have difficulty grasping the overall design flow of operator.

3. Irreversible mistake.

Hair cut requires intensive accuracy. Even in unintended cut happened it cannot be return to the original state. In other words, hair cut is a highly difficult and burdening process.

4. It is difficult to use illustration degree design to both mannequin hair and real human hair.

Design illustration degree is drawn based on the pictures or mannequin, therefore it is difficult to facilitate illustration degree with actual human hair.

5. There are no criteria to acknowledge the angle around operator.

When the operator speaks about the angle, the operating angle is fixed with the sight of the operator. In this aspect, it is difficult for trainees to grasp clear direction and angle moreover, perception of the angle and direction may vary based on individuals. Thus, even taking the same class each one might understand the design differently.
